 Bathing a dog needs to be given more emphasis. This is because of the fact that if you are careless in bathing, the animal may end up having some infections.  For example, if you don’t close the ears with large cotton ball, the water may enter into ear canals and may cause some ear infections with signs like constant discharge from the ears and shaking of head.

 Frequency of bathing actually depends on the breed of the dog. If the dog is of a hairy type like the cocker spaniel, then the bathing is to be carried out once in six to eight weeks. If these breeds are bathed too frequently, then the skin and coat loose the protective characters.  However, when the dog has defecated on the skin due to the frequent digestive upsets leading to diarrhea, to avoid the bad smell, the dog may be subjected to frequent bathing some times by the owners. 
 
 Take more care in avoiding some irritant soaps or human soaps. The soap materials used for human beings are not suitable for dogs.  Similarly, many human shampoo products are having some ingredients that are not suitable in the proportions that are to be used in case of dogs. Hence, always try to use the shampoo products that are mentioned mainly for use in dogs. Take more care in using any new product.  

 Always have good time and patience for products required for bathing in one place with availability of water source.  Dogs love the sprinkling of water, river, and oceans.  Even when you are using bathtub, have everything in one place and then start bathing of the dog. Try to have a leash, conditioner, towel, and shampoo in the bath place.

 Conditioner is of helpful to make the combing activity easier later. Bathing should be a convenient activity to both the dog and the owner. This should not be a burden.

There's a little Girl Scout on the street carrying boxes of different flavored cookies, timidly trying to knock on her neighbors' doors worried that somehow she'll be booed out and that doors would just slam shut on her face after offering her cookies for just a few cents? Such a pitiful sight eh?

But imagine what this little girl could  be feeling even before approaching doors.  Will they know that she is on official business and would just be selling cookies for the good of humanity?  Will she be able to speak her rehearsed cookie scripts?  Will she make her first order?  

Little that we know that a lot of grown ups, even professional salesmen, experience anxiety the idea of making their own cold call.  It’s so normal to feel butterflies hitting big time up and down your belly, that just thinking of making the call (whether personal or business) would even want to make you throw up.  

But, let me give you the exact explanation of what a cold call means.  A cold call is a personal call, it can be a visit or phone call to someone you know a little or someone whom you really don't know.  The main reason for the call is that you are selling something for personal or official business.

Others think that a cold call is only being made to total strangers, taken from phonebooks or referrals from other persons.  On the contrary, this cold call can be made to someone you already know or to a prospect you're already familiar with.  It can be someone you met last month at a party or maybe a friend introduced him to you before and you found him to be a good prospect to sell the product.  But still, contacting someone you know breaks the ice for a moment.  Try to narrow your prospects at first where you feel comfortable, once you've mastered the technique that's the time you can move on to a more challenging prospects you never even thought of approaching.

The ordeal that you have to go through first is making that personal, meaning one on one, physical appearance or telepresence.  This can make you so tense that you feel like quitting everything.  There are even cold calls that make you feel like you will disappear in a heartbeat.  

Even professionals like doctors, lawyers and professors feel the same, which is why they depend on friends or clients' referrals for fear of losing their dignity and good name after making an unsuccessful cold call.  One deep breath can help do the trick.

Prepare the list of whom to be called or visited, how the introduction should be done, learn what prospects do and the most important part of all is that your offered product or service should be something that could be of good use for them. Never sound too over reactive or obviously nervous on the phone or when you shake your prospect's hand.  Never try to be somebody you are really not with an aim to getting the attention you need. Calm Down

Anticipate that you'll be declined.  That's it.  It's really hard but never take it as a personal attack on you.  Don't let the feeling of being dismissed put you down and roll you back.  Be patient and learn from your mistakes.  You will reap a good harvest if you commit yourself to being persistent.  This will also help you find a strategy that will work in the long run.  Look at each turn down as if it were the next stepping stone.

The Art of Questioning

You cannot expect someone to believe you right away and just sign up after describing your company's objectives.  You have to ask the right questions.  Ask what they do correctly and promptly to help you use it along the conversation.  A sure attention getter when opening a conversation can be "May I ask you about something Ms/Mr?"  People want to help and this question lowers their guard.  The next question will be "Can you help me out about this thing sir/ma'am?"  This question does not ask for a yes or no answer but would definitely give you a valuable response that you can use all through out the interaction.

It's possible that the little Girl Scout on the street asked the same question and left the doorway with 2 less boxes of cookies at hand!

When you think of any kind of gardening, the first thing that pops into your mind is flower gardening. Flowers and gardens being naturally synonymous with each other. And dedicated gardener that you are, you’ll naturally be doing your own flower gardening this year. 

Flower gardening need not be limited only to summertime. If you plan carefully and plant ahead of time, your garden can be filled with an abundance of flowers for most of the year.

Remember that all spring flowering bulbs should be planted in mid autumn, as this is the best time for them. Come any closer to winter and you’re in danger of losing your bulbs altogether.

Moving through to summer, we find that perennials are a firm favorite for flower gardening as they yield blooms almost continuously throughout the season, and sometimes beyond. With a little luck and care, you’ll also find that most of your perennials will last through to next year, and the year after that, and, well you get the picture right? You’ll also find that as the years and the seasons wear on, your perennials will become fuller, and generally will become more abundant than the first year you planted them.

As autumn gently closes in most flower gardens are left bereft of anything but a few small hardy plants. If you're into more dedicated flower gardening however, that need not be the case for you.  Hardy, drought resistant plants like Asters number among the many types of fall flowers available, and will look stunning in late summer/early fall, Generally, autumn plants will grow to a good 3-4 feet in height, and have vivid colors, as well as the more genteel pastel colors to choose from. Ornamental grasses are another favorite and will nicely complement your fall flowers.

To round off the year and your efforts at flower gardening, don't despair as there are many winter blooms available. Amaryllis, Hyacinth, and Narcissus are a few of the more common known flowers and are available in bulb form. If you want something a little more out of the ordinary, you could always try Winter Jasmine, or Winter Honeysuckle.

So, take heart, take plenty of notes, plan, and buy to your heart's content. By the end of it all you truly will have a flower for every season, and your flower gardening efforts will be rewarded most bountifully

How to Create or Customize a Slide Master in PowerPoint 2010

1. Go to any PowerPoint presentation and choose "File" > "New" > "Blank presentation".
   
   
2. The click "Create" to create a blank presentation.
   
   
3. Then go to "View" > "Master Views" > "Slide Master" in the ribbon.
   
   
4. Then you can see the larger slide master and the associated layouts beneath the slide master.
   
   
5. Select one layout from them like this. For example, choose this type.
   
6. If there is no layout that meet you needs, choose "Blank Layout" as follows.
   
7. In the selected layout slide, you can also change it. Drag the border of the box to adjust the right size.
   
8. You can insert placeholders into the layout. Go to "Master Layout" > "Insert Placeholder" and choose one.
   
9. Then drag the mouse to draw the placeholder in the place you want as follows.
   
10. If you don't want any layout, right click on it and choose "Delete Layout" to remove it.
    
11. In the above list, you can also choose "Format Background" to customize your own background.
    
12. Then "Format Background" box will pop up. In the left pane, select them and then change the options on the right. At last, click "Close" or "Apply to All" as you like after your settings.
    
13. Moreover, in the "Slide Master" tab, you can use "Edit Theme" to select your favourite theme, or click "Slide Orientation" to choose one direction.

Panduan langkah cara membuat atau bikin blog di blogspot

Pada posting kali ini saya akan membuatkan panduan cara membuat blog yang disediakan secara gratis oleh blogger.com. Mungkin atau pasti kamu pernah mendengar istilah blog atau webblog kan? blog tidak jauh berbeda dengan website. yang membedakan jika website hanyalah situs yang menyediakan informasi satu arah bagi pengunjungnya, sedangkan blog atau webblog menyediakan informasi secara dua arah, jadi para pengunjung bisa memberikan komentar tentang artikel atau content yang disediakan oleh pengelola blog itu, atau istilah lain Admin. Oh ya istilah lain dari blog adalah CMS jika dipanjangkan jadi Content Management Sistem. sedangkan orang yang mempunyai blog istilah nya blogger
sebenarnya saat ini ada dua layanan blog gratis yang sering digunakan oleh para bloger untuk ngeblog, yaitu blogspot (bloger) dan wordpress. Tapi kali ini saya akan memberikan panduan cara membuat blog dengan blogspot (blogger) saja. Alasan saya karena saya rasa cara membuat dan mengelola blog di bloger lebih mudah dibandingkan dengan di wordpress. Tapi satu saat ini saya usahakan akan membuat juga tentang panduan cara membuat blog di wordpress yang juga gratis tentunya.
oke lah… tanpa banyak berbasa basi lagi baca baaik-baik langkah-langkah cara membuat blog di bawah ini ya…
1. Yang harus kamu siapkan dan wajib sebelum membuat atau bikin blog di blogspot (blogger) adalah memiliki email terlebih dahulu. email ini nantinya digunakan untuk mendaftar pertama kali. jika belum bisa atau belum membuat email baca di sini (klik di sini), disitu sudah saya bahas tentang langkah membuat email. Tenang saja tidak usah terburu-buru. Baca dulu panduan ini sampai habis, kemudian baru dipraktekkan. oke
2. Jika sudah membuat email, bukalah alamat www.blogger.com, dan pastikan yang muncul adalah website seperti di bawah ini

kemudian klik gambar panah orange yang bertuliskan CIPTAKAN BLOG ANDA
3. Setelah itu akan muncul halaman seperti di bawah ini

pada kolom alamat email : masukan email kamu
ketik ulang alamat email : masukan lagi email yang sama seperti diatas
masukan sebuah paswod : isiakan kanta kunci (minimal 8 karakter, bisa huruf bisa angka)
ketikan ulang sandi : masukan lagi paswod yang telah kamu masukan sama dengan yang di atas
Nama tampilan : isi nama kamu atau nama alias kamu (ini akan tampil bersamaa dengan posting, artikel yang kamu buat)
verifikasi : masukkan gambar kata yang terdapat di atas kolom.

jika sudah diisi semua lalu klik gambar panah orange (lanjutkan)
4. Kemudian akan muncul seperti ini

Isilah Judul Blog sesuai dengan keinginannmu
isi juga alamat blog sesuai dengan keinginanmu juga, jika alamatmu menggunakan 2 kata atau lebih. pisahlah dengan tanda titik ( . ) atau tanda ( – ). karena tidak bisa menggunakan spasi.

terkadang alamat blog yang kita tulis sudah pakai oleh orang lain, jika sudah dipakai orang lain berati tidak bisa digunakan. Untuk mengetahui sudah dipakai orang lain atau belum Klik saja link “cek ketersediaan” jika belum dipakai orang lain, maka di bawahnya akan muncul tulisan warna hijau yang bertuliskan Alamat blog ini tersedia

5. Setelah kamu klik menu lanjutkan.. akan muncul halaman seperti ini

itu adalah jendela disain template. untuk memilih tinggal klik salah satu. kemudian menu klik lanjutkan, maka yang muncul adalah gambar seperti ini

dengan begitu kamu telah selesai membuat suatu blog…. sekarang tinggal mengisi dengan artikel kamu saja..
6. okelah langsung saja kita belajar mengisi artikel… Kliklah tombol panah Mulai Blogging
maka akan muncul gambar seperti di bawah ini, gambar di bawah merupakan contoh pengisian artikel

Kolom judul untuk judul artikel
dalam kolom yang lebar di bawahnya itu untuk menulis artikel kamu
dan label untuk mengisi jenis kategory artikel.
jika sudah diisi semua kemudian tekan menu MEMPUBLIKASIKAN POSTING, jika muncul seperti ini

maka kamu telah berhasil membuat satu artikel, untuk melihatnya klik menu Lihat BLog
maka yang tampil akan seperti ini

jika sudah muncul seperti itu.. kamu berati telah selesai dan berhasil membuat posting
7. Suatu saat jika ingin memposting artikel baru lagi, kamu tidak perlu mendaftar lagi… tinggal buka https://www.blogger.com/start, kemudian
masukkan email kamu, dan paswod kamu saja, kemudian klik menu “masuk” maka kamu akan di bawa ke menu dashboard,

sesaat kemudian kamu akan masuk pada dasboard bloger kamu, di situ kamu bisa mengedit, membuat posting, ataupun mengatur setting blog kamu.

dan yang terakhir, agar akun blogger kamu bisa digunakan secara penuh, jangan lupa konfirmasi dulu aku bloger kamu. caranya cek email yang kamu gunakan untuk mendaftar, di situ akan terdapat satu buah email dari blogger berisi link konfirmasi. klik link tersebut, seperti gambar di bawah ini

setelah kamu klik link tersebut, kamu akan diarahkan ke halaman seperti gambar di bawah ini, menunjukkan akun blogger kamu sudah dikonfirmasi.

8. Oh iya jika kamu sudah mempunyai email di Gmail. kamu tida perlu mendaftar dari awal… tapi langsung saja masukkan alamat email gmail kamu dan paswod kamu, kemudian klik menu masuk.
jika menggunakan email dari Gmail, kamu tidak perlu memasukan paswod dan email lain ataupun capta kode lagi… tinggal masukkan nama tampilan saja
kelanjutan langkah-langkahnya sama dengan yang di atas….
